No one had even come close to that point
I have to say that I was lucky enough to watch The Bureau a few years ago and honestly it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever watched. There’s a correlation between the two series, obviously it’s been mentioned that it was an "influence" after it, but I wasn’t expecting a similar story. Don’t get me wrong, the series is amazing so far, great acting, good cinematography, but it wasn’t anything I haven’t seen in the French version before. It’s too early to tell how things will play out, but I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t watched The Office to check it out.
You won’t regret it
After Fassbender played a professional assassin in David Fincher’s The Killer and I saw that he was part of the cast, I knew right away that he was the perfect choice for the role. Watching these types of series really requires concentration, so you can keep up with all the characters and details about the story. It’s not something you’d watch while riding a bike on an indoor exercise machine. Some might even find them slow, maybe even boring, but it’s those complex character traits and personal struggles, as well as the slow build-up of tension, that make them great in my opinion.
You either love this type of series or you don’t, there’s no middle ground
