The episode takes place after the events of the game
This animated anthology series features original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games. Video games have made the leap to the big screen in a big way, and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations in films and TV shows. Clive Standen will reprise his voice role of Demetrius Titus, the main character in the video game Space Marine 2.
They feel like teaching experiments
The animation is beautiful, there’s no denying that. I have a hard time getting excited about episodes this short, though. You can’t be completely engrossed, knowing it’s over before you can even connect with the characters.
Reeves and Arnie both play entertaining roles
It was nice to see some celebrities involved. It’s all just a bit too experimental and superficial for me. Plus, if I’d had the chance to choose the source material, I probably would have chosen a completely different set of games that I adore.
The Pacman episode was OK
But it was a demonstration of the full extent of artistic license. It made me laugh, at least. Overall, I found the whole series a little disappointing.
