A thrilling journey through the life of Pharrell Williams through the prism of LEGO animation. Animal Logic, which animated the previous four Lego films, did not return to animate the film because it would be considered a rip-off of Warner Bros., even though Lego and Warner Bros share the rights to the original franchise. Instead, the animation was done at Pure Imagination Studios in Los Angeles and Zebu Animation Studios in India. Both Pure Imagination and Zebu have previously recreated the style of the original film series with theme park attractions, PSAs, and the Simpsons (1989) episode “Brick Like Me (2014)”… Opening for Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Tremolo The Lego Group studio products and logos are made of Lego bricks. Pharrell Williams biopic but made with Legos, awesome and original. But you have to ask yourself who this is made for? Because it’s too boring to be a kids movie and most adults wouldn’t watch it because they would think it was a kids movie. I personally watched it last night and found myself quite bored, this biopic made with Legos was the only thing that saved this movie otherwise no one would have cared except Pharrell Williams super fans. I also don’t know how Focus Features managed to survive all year, they are the only movie company where the theater is consistently empty every time I go in even though it’s a blockbuster, there were only 5 people in total. The other 2 movies I watched through Focus Features this year, the theater was completely empty and I was the only person on the audio tour which is very rare to be alone in a movie theater.
